Blackberry announce the 8900 Curve

Blackberry is all set to launch the Curve. The Blackberry 8900 Curve has had high expectations since the success of the Bold or the Pearl flip. It will be worth while to catch a bit of this cake. It is being heard that RIM is launching this phone with the German giants, T-Mobile. Now lets take a peek at this device:
  • Quadband GPRS/EDGE/GSM/HSCSD 850/900/1800/1900.
  • Bluetooth 2.0 A2DP.
  • Wi-fi IEEE 802.11b .
  • 2.4 inches 480 x 360 pixels colour TFT screen.
  • 3.2 MP camera with auto-focus.

The Blackberry Curve is no 3G phone but it is a quadband. Sad feature is that the download, browsing will not be available on this phone at such high speeds. The phone is studded with Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-fi for wireless data connectivity. It also comes with a miniSD slot for USB.
The screen resolution will obvoiusly be among the pros. It is very sharp and crisp. Much like the design of the phone itself. Very smooth and crisp. The screen is of 2.4 inches. Coming to the camera of the phone, it iis a 3.2MP camera with no digital or optical zoom but comes with auto-focus. This is another great dissapointment. Thats beacuse you will be aiming to capture on thing and will have another once you press the trackball. The video-recording resolution is also very low.

The phone comes with extendible memory of 16GB and a microSD slot. The phone provides 356 hours of stand-by and 4 hours of talktime. The phones does carry of some of the general Blackberry traits but fails at most others, which are more popular among Blackberry mobile phones.
